Wish Come True
By: Bill Covert
Of all the wishing only one has come true,
the wonderful wish of being loved by you.
You've shown me happiness far beyond any end,
ever since we've become more then friends.
When I am with you my spirit soars,
with each passing day I love you that much more.
When I gaze into your eyes and see them glisten,
I sit quiet and let my heart listen.
Cause sometimes your look is all it takes,
to make my heart flutter and my hands shake.
So when others say it's useless to wish upon a star,
Now I can tell them how wrong they are.
. Your Eyes
By: Bill Covert
Your eyes hold within them,
the secret of the universe.
The how and why of all things.
The past present and future.
with width, and breadth
and the height of all creation.
Your eyes are filled with
ever flowing love.
