When I am down or under stress I pick out a "Day" and
stake a claim.
I sit back, relax, close my eyes and my day comes to me.
It is a perfect day in every way.
Sunny, billowing clouds, soft spring breezes, birds singing.
I am sitting on a hill under a shady tree watching a
cheery little creek sing along.. Shhh, can you hear it,
can you hear it?
I can walk in a quiet wood and smell the sweet scents of
nature, feel the soft soil under my feet. I can walk
through a meadow filled with wild flowers, butterflies
and humming birds.
The soft grass blowing quietly in the breeze.
I can sit under a tree and watch the creek and hum spring
songs with the wind.
I can sit on the creek bank and feel the cool water on my
feet.
Flowers abound in my "Day", their scent so sweet and
soul healing.
When my "Day" is over I am renewed and I
can face the problems of the real days that confront me.
I can face them with a new strength and inner peace.
Thank you God for helping me create such a beautiful
"Day"
I am truly sorry you can not join me in "My Day", but
now that you have my secret you can find your own
"Day".
